A groundbreaking ceremony was held on Thursday, November 21, 2019 for Hartford HealthCare’s $70 million expansion of the Hartford Hospital Bliss Building. Located in Hartford, Connecticut, the new addition will support the growing need for clinical space to provide MRI, interventional radiology, electrophysiology, a cath lab, critical care and surgical care. The 4-story, 50,000 square foot expansion will include a 12-bed ICU and 5 operating rooms of which 4 will be hybrid rooms.
Concord is providing project management services for the project. Construction will start in December 2019 with an anticipated opening date of August 2021.
