Concord congratulates Broward Health on the commencement of construction for a new medical office building located adjacent to Broward Health Medical Center in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.
On April 30, 2026, a groundbreaking ceremony marked the official start of foundation and concrete work for the new approximately 188,000-square-foot medical office facility. In a distinctive departure from the traditional shovels in the dirt ceremony, representatives from Broward Health and City leadership commemorated the occasion with a symbolic concrete hand-casting. Designed to meet the evolving healthcare needs of the community, the new facility will include 129 exam rooms and provide capacity for future expansion.
The facility is anticipated to be completed in August of 2027.
