CLEVELAND, OH – Cleveland Clinic and Case Western Reserve University (CWRU) held a groundbreaking ceremony on October 10, 2017 for the CWRU School of Dental Medicine’s Clinical Building to compliment the larger Cleveland Clinic and CWRU Health Education Campus programmed for each Institution’s Medical School, as well as the CWRU Nursing and Dental School Programs. Concord is providing program management services for the 132,600 square foot, 3-story building. The Clinical Building contains the following:
- 120 pre-doctoral operatories
- 93 specialty graduate clinic operatories
- 10 operatories for faculty practice
- Clinical support such as clean dispensary, soiled holding, and treatment support labs
- Space for patient interaction with business office staff
- Collaborative & learning environments including rounding and seminar rooms
- Faculty office and support space
- Public environments and waiting areas
- Mechanical and electrical support area
- On-site patient parking
Construction of the Dental School’s Clinical Building is anticipated to be completed in February of 2019 with dental student clinical use commencing June of 2019.
